This year, exceptionally, the ceremonies were held on April 14, on a date other than the traditional one (April 16) due to the "Smolensk commemorations" scheduled by the state authorities for that very day.
The ceremony was organized by the Board of Military Engineering of the Inspectorate of Army Types of the General Command of the Armed Forces and the General Board of the Association of Polish Sappers with logistical support of the 2nd Sappers Regiment from Kazun.
On February 3, 2023, the Academy of Military Art signed an agreement with the Military Institute of Engineering Technology in Wrocław. The academy was represented by Col. Jacek JONIAK PhD. Eng., Dean of the Military Faculty, and the Institute was represented by Marcin SZCZEPANIAK PhD. Eng., Director of WITI.
